Wireless Facilities, Inc. has been selected to provide network design and deployment services for the City of Temecula’s proposed municipal Wi-Fi network. Working together with Wi-Fi mesh network company Tropos Networks, and in coordination with The City of Temecula, WFI will deploy a Wi-Fi network in the Old Town area of the city. The network is expected to be deployed in the first quarter of 2006. Further terms of the project were not disclosed.
