Boingo Wireless has gotten a lot of news lately about their new business venture. They promise one source for access to a number of IEEE 802.11b wireless systems. To fulfill this, they offer a free client from their website which supposedly sports a NetStumbler-like mechanism to find access points, a database of known access points and some VPN software that provides the security which WEP lacks.
